Because it's your passion

Reed,
So we made some Pina Coladas this afternoon to watch the sunset and it occured to us we really don't have the appropriate glassware. What do you recommend?

A Game for Reed

I'm not much of a gamer myself, but check out this article about the soon to be released Medal of Honor, screenwritten by the same man involved in Apocalypse Now, Red Dawn and Conan the Barbarian! I didn't know Reed was their target market.

NIT Again

Although it's good to be in the postseason again, I'm more than a little disappointed that it's the three letter tourney and not the four. Will, as a former Boston resident, any dirt on the Terriers? How was Amsterdam by the way?

The Hoyas and Other Musings

Playing UConn really brings home how much the team has overacheived this year. We've got two players -- Green and Bowman -- that would get into the rotation there, and I don't think either would start.

For all the gnashing of teeth that is accompanying our late-season swoon, given the performance of the other bubble teams, I think we still sneak in with a win over Providence, barring a lot of upset winners in the conference tournaments. And I'm cautiously optimistic about the Providence game too -- they are terrible defensively and not especially explosive offensively...so we should be able to keep pace with them. I still have confidence in our ability to pull out the close ones...our main problem is we can't overcome large deficits because of our inability to generate points from our defense.

It's funny...the Hoyas are 5 points away from being 5-10 in conference, yet people are shocked that good teams like Nova and UConn blow us out when they play well.

On an unrelated note, I'm apparently off to Amsterdam this weekend, and will be there through March 16. Anyone ever been there? Anyone know a sports bar there that would carry the Big East tournament?
