IM'ing from London (ahhhhhhh), Reed Carey reported that Buck, an alterego known to occasionally appear while drinking is no more. "I think Buck was also a product of rowing-angst working its way out," said a reflective Carey, "without that, Buck's life blood is gone." In another startling development, Carey reported, "I've been trying to cut down on the stare."
Carey didn't entirely rule out the possibility of a Buck reappearance, say if Comeau was with him and encouraging him with the phrase, "TOMBS...NOW!", but for the time being the small trees of London are safe.
