Come on....

How can you compare some creepy scientology "cone of silence" to this? It's a classic. Nothing against the miracle of..... well, actually on second thought the childbirth thing could be kind of cool. Hmm, I take it back.

Apparently Marty Jannetty wasn't available...

The Almighty Himself is making his WWE debut, teaming with Shawn Michaels at the Backlash ppv.

Anyone know where Brad is? I'd dearly like to know the theological implications of this.

A tragedy for single women everywhere

Yesterday I asked Emily to marry me and she said yes. We're both really happy.

Fun Run Donations

I'm participating in UCLA Challenge for Charity's first annual Fun Run Fundraiser this weekend, and was wondering if you all could help me out. For the event the school is attempting to raise $5k. While I hate raising money for running events, my section is very behind, so I'm just looking for a few bucks to get us going (a $5 or $10 donation would be great). Here are the details on the charity and how to donate:
UCLA Challenge for Charity (C4C) is the largest charitable organization at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Last year, UCLA C4C raised over $86,500 and volunteered over 4,100 hours for two charities: LA Works and Special Olympics of Southern California. All activites throughout the year are dedicated to raising money and providing volunteers to these two organizations.

Since 1991, LA Works has partnered with hundreds of other non-profit social service agencies throughout Los Angeles to improve the quality of life in the Los Angeles community. Their mission is to increase volunteer participation, provide community service organizations with access to volunteers and educate people about the social issues affecting the Los Angeles community.
Special Olympics of Southern California (SOSC) is an international program of year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than one million children and adults with intellectual disabilities and closely associated developmental disabilities. SOSC serves over 11,000 children and adults, ranging in age from eight to eighty.

To donate: Please click on the following link to make a donation today: http://www.andersonc4c.org/funevents/index.cgi
** Please be sure to write in “Section E” in the donation comment box area.

UCLA Challenge for Charity has a 501(c)3 (non-profit) corporate standing, so any contribution you make is tax-deductible.

"Few people know that I'm fueled creatively by my massive hatred of immigrants..."

Actually, I'm fairly agnostic on this whole immigration debate, but I was rather annoyed that I had to wait 20 minutes last night for a metro car that wasn't packed to the gills with protesters from the big march in DC yesterday.

In any event, my sour mood reminded me of this, one of my all-time favorite SNL sketches.
