Last Day Off
My two year sabbatical called business school officially ends on Wednesday, as I've accepted a job to work for Universal Music Enterprises in Santa Monica. The official title is Director of Sales Analysis, and while I'll likely be able to better explain exactly what that means a few months from now, it's basically doing number crunching for their sales data that's never been done before. They're paying me like I'm going to solve all the industry's problems, so hopefully that is the case.

RIP
For the former Ballston crowd, they're tearing down Carpool to make way for yet more condominiums. It wasn't the greatest bar in the world, but for the bar that you'd go to because it was close, I always felt that it fulfilled its role admirably.
Nice...
After one good season following on nearly a decade of mediocrity, Georgetown has doubled the required donation levels for season tickets (at least for my season tickets). I'll probably suck it up and pay because I can afford it and I like my seats, but this doesn't seem like the best way to build goodwill.
