How hard is it to get a lawyer to return your call

Multiple calls to Will and Reed went unreturned this weekend, which has me wondering whether I did something to piss both of them off. I had no idea it was so difficult to get free legal advice.

Regardless, a few things for you all to think about:

- Laura (who lurks on this blog regularly), asked me today, "What does that word (embiggen) mean? I looked it up at dictionary.com, but it wasn't listed?" I explained it was a perfectly cromulent word.

- In other Laura news, her counselor at Deloitte suggested she give the lead partner of the west coast practice a call, just to re-introduce herself. I suggested she have him over, head to the swimming pool in back and tell him she had some serious plans for the firm, and hoped to be moving up in a big way, but only if he was on her team.

- I'm due to be in Vegas August 8-11, and am considering staying for the weekend since Laura is likely out of town in China. Any one else interested?

- Eddy's power must still be out because I can't imagine he wouldn't have at least commented on Will's post. Eddy, you're still the prettiest Asian transvestite we know, don't ignore us. We promise not to talk about the shorts.

- Georgetown is once again scheduling some real heavyweights. Will, I'll bet you're glad you paid top dollar for Towson and Winston Salem St.

Winston Salem State? That's a real school? It sounds like the sort of fake name a video game that was too cheap to pay for licensing rights would use to approximate Wake Forest.
